Commercial Freshwater Fishing

Commercial fishing is a valued industry in Manitoba. For over 100 years, Manitobans have been commercially harvesting fish. With over 100,000 lakes that cover approximately 17% of its surface area Manitoba has plenty of fish habitat.

The majority of commercial fish production comes from Lake Winnipeg and Lake Manitoba however numerous other smaller lakes are also fished. just added a new page for Manitoba Commercial Fishing Information
